The Work Is Done In 3 Phases

         First Phase: Data Collection:

         Our Research team collects data on universities around the world depending                           on a criteria list.

Sources of information:    

  1. Open-source information.
  2. Documents provided can be used as an accountable reference.

Targeted Universities:

  1. That have contracts\partnerships with the occupation military\intelligence community.
  2. That operates in the occupied territories.
  3. That provide services\research\knowledge transfer to the occupation military\intelligence schemes.

Criteria List:  (CODE: for easier categorizing)

  1. Academic ties with the occupation:      ATOC
  • Research fundings or partnerships       ATOC-ReP
  • Grants                                                         ATOC-G
  • Scholarships fundings                             ATOC-SoF
  • Mutual academic programs                    ATOC-MaP

 

        2. Non-Academic ties with the occupation:   NATOC

  • Direct\indirect investments                          NATOC-DiV
  • Trust establishments                                     NATOC-TrsT
  • Donations                                                         NATOC-DoN
  • Commercial partnerships                              NATOC-CoM

 

        3. University management relations with\stands towards the occupation:    RELAC

  • Board of trustees                                                                                                    RELAC-B
  • Deans of university                                                                                                 RELAC-D

 

        4. Position from the cause:                       PoC

  • Public announcements                          PoC-PaN
  • Regulations in favor\against                 PoC-ReG
  • Support of Pal solidarity\PalSocs        PoC-SaP
  • Holding events in favor\against           PoC-HeV
        Second Phase: Ranking Process:

         Each criterion is assessed using a rating system based on three colors representing             the degree of complicity:

       RED: refers to the full or direct complicity with the occupation.

       AMBER: refers to a partial or indirect complicity in support of the occupation.

       GREEN: refers to the universities that’s not in complicity with the occupation, and may                        have a clear position against it.

Ranking system:

  1. If there’s any information on the university from the criteria’s subcategories, the university will gain:

                + Red info: 2 points 

                + Amber info: 1 point

        2. Any university that gain RED points will be labeled as Red categorized, regardless                  the number of RED points. 

        3. The highest ranking is for the highest score of points among the colored categories.

          Third Phase: Final Assessment:
  • A committee of accountable specialists approves the ranking of universities according to research results and categorizing process.
  • There will be an update every 6 – 9 months, or if a new information is presented to our team, or change in the position of the university that requires changing its categories.
